This is an exciting opportunity within the Training and Development team and we are looking for someone with the expertise, collaborative attitude and creativity to join us. The T&D team provides training and development support for building high performance, professional, sales teams and advisors. As part of this dynamic team, you will use a variety of development tools to design and build creative and engaging multimedia training solutions, training manuals, and learning materials. You have the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse sales team from multiple business units and apply effective influencing skills. You will have a deep understanding of adult learning principles and the proven ability to apply them to industry standard design models (Experiential Model, ADDIE). You will have demonstrated facilitation skills and have experience delivering learning solutions to a variety of audiences. You will need to be self-motivated, resourceful and thrive in a rapidly changing environment. Your exceptional communication skills will allow you to work with your team to build relevant and engaging learning solutions.

Our ideal candidate will be client-focused, experienced in sales training with an educational background in Adult Education/Training. The successful candidate must have a strong capacity for retaining information and be extremely capable of working independently.
Responsibilities for Consumer and Retail Markets:
Conduct needs analysis using sound design principles to identify and define training needs for all sales leaders
Manage and implement the learning strategy for all sales leaders
Design and script detailed facilitators notes for the development of interactive learning solutions
Work collaboratively with subject matter experts to design relevant content, determine best delivery method, and share vision
Influence senior sales leaders as to the best approach to learn based on their needs
Design training materials including participant and instructor guides, job aids, assessments and support tools
Design training solutions that meet the needs of the adult learner, writing and editing content; testing solutions for readiness and usability
Facilitate in-class room sessions to sales leaders on an as needed basis
Provide coaching and mentoring to sales leaders and other team members
Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders to anticipate needs
Proactively seek feedback from clients to continuously evolve and improve services provided individually and by the broader T&D team
2-3 years of formal instructional design experience preferred, including conducting in-depth needs assessment using the Experiential learning (or similar) design model.
Knowledge of, and the ability to apply adult learning principles
Ability to think critically and ask targeted questions to determine needs and respond appropriately
Creative and innovative
Experience in facilitation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
4-6 years experience in a training or classroom environment preferred
University/College degree in an education-related field (B.Ed, Adult Education or equivalent) preferred
Strong ability to influence across all levels
Ability to adapt curriculum to meet the needs of diverse audiences
Ability to produce high-quality deliverables with short deadlines
Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
