As an Instructional Designer you will be accountable for: • Dependent on project scope and the needs of business, consult with HR Business Partner and SME’s at various levels across the organization to provide one of all Instructional Design services: o Learning needs Analysis o Project Management o Design (as standalone or part of blended learning program) o Development o Deployment/implementation o Communication & Launch strategy o Coordination of French Translation and Development • Work independently and collaboratively on eLearning projects with business partners throughout ACG. • Keep track of project plan and ensure all expectations are being met from all parties involved. • Autonomously handle challenges that arise during projects, devising solutions and communicating with project team members. • Keep team updated on status of projects to facilitate coordination of department resources, capacity, lessons learned and best practices. • Escalate issues to Manager if necessary and inform of project risk to scope, quality, and timeline. • Discuss distribution methods for learning and how to leverage VIP My Learning platform effectively deploy and manage content.
Qualifications & Experience: • Proven knowledge and application of Adult Learning Principles, Instructional Design and other design and development principles and methodologies. • Education in adult learning & instructional design methodology preferred • Effective consultation skills • 3-5 years applied knowledge of Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate and/or other authoring tools. • Experience with design of blended learning programs leveraging various methods including eLearning. • Applied knowledge and experience working with a Learning Management system • Proven ability to manage projects from creation through deployment. • Expert knowledge of MS Office applications, including PowerPoint. • Experience with Human Resources soft skill content design an asset. • French would be an asset.
