We are growing and looking for a leadership facilitator/trainer to add to our team of world class trainers to deliver our learning solutions to our clients and are currently searching for a seasoned Facilitator in the Greater Toronto Area to partner with us. This person will have a number of different qualities starting with a balance of heart and edge: that is, the ability to create safety, be compassionate and listen extremely well while at the same time, have the strength to effectively direct and lead a room to the discovery of the key insights and tools our leadership development programs are known for.

No, we don’t expect you to be perfect when it comes to managing emotions under pressure but we do expect that you have worked hard at building your self-awareness and can inspire others to take the risk to learn and grow. It is expected that the main focus of this role is to deliver our learning to middle and senior managers and leaders across the greater Toronto area (GTA). There will also be situations where you would be asked to travel to deliver our programs across North America.
Role Details POSITION: Self-Employed, Contract Facilitator SERVICE AREA: Canada and the United States
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensure that IHHP’s curriculum is delivered professionally, and effectively meeting the desired learning objectives, according to program standards • Participate in client Pre and Post program calls with the Sales consultant and Program Manager • Adapt training methods to standard instructional materials to meet clients’ varying needs • Participate in feedback for annual product updates • Attend workshops and meetings as required • Communicate participant feedback, challenges, successes through identified communication channels • Represent IHHP in a professional manner to all levels of client organization • Shows commitment to IHHP’s Organizational Vision, Purpose and Values (see below) • Provide a positive environment in which learners are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process • Partner with our learning consultants to further relationship building and business opportunities with our clients and the program participants. • Compile and forward to IHHP report and evaluation feedback
QUALIFICATIONS • 5 – 7 years of facilitation experience in “soft skills” leadership programs • Experience consulting to and delivering programs to Management and Senior Leaders Levels • Strong communication and leadership management skills • Experience delivering programs in a Virtual format an asset • Program and content delivery based on Adult learning principles • CTP or CSTD certifications strong assets however not required • Bilingual in French and English not required but a nice to have • Experience working within an organization in a non-learning and development capacity would be a benefit
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED • Strong Communication Skills • Good sense of humour • A strong presence and command of a room and the ability to facilitate in a classroom and virtual classroom setting • Deal with difficult situations and sensitive subjects and topics • Manage difficult conversations
