SENIOR CONSULTANT FOR TALENT MANAGEMENT, Office of the Vice President for Research, to develop, facilitate, and/or coordinate programs/processes that align with the strategic vision and goals of the Vice President for Research (VPR) under the supervision of the director of research administration and compliance. Will play a leadership role in collaborating with key internal stakeholders, assistant deans, and other leaders to develop programs that enhance pipelines and succession throughout VPR and across the schools, with particular focus on research administration; develop and implement multifaceted plans to bolster pipelines; identify ways to cultivate growth and development of staff with high potential across units, collaborating with leaders in VPR, schools, and DLCs through programs, training, and mentoring; and serve as a resource to and advise the leads of the Research Administration Coordinating Council working groups regarding meeting preparation, project planning, leading teams, etc.
REQUIRED: a bachelor's degree in a related field; a minimum of ten years of directly related experience in human resources and/or talent management; experience working in higher education; deep knowledge of training delivery; ability to think strategically and effectively execute the plan; and demonstrated ability to influence, foster communication, collaborate, and build bridges among diverse stakeholder groups.
