Preferred Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent education and experience with an emphasis in Business or Health care.
Necessary Skills: 1. Clinical credentials/background/experience. 2. Prior experience in product evaluation or value analysis processes. 3. Management experience including team building, team development and team coaching. 4. Previous experience in conducting cost benefit analysis and ROI calculation. 5. Successful track record in project management, change management, benchmarking and process improvement. 6. Strong analytical and quantitative skills including data gathering, organization, assessment, reporting and presentation. 7. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and facilitation skills. 8. Demonstrated skill in use of business software programs (knowledge of project management software is a plus). 9. Knowledge of process improvement/re-engineering, facilitation/implementation techniques, and data interpretation. 10. Previous experience with maximizing the use of a group purchasing organizations (GPO's), supply chain optimization and product evaluation/value analysis committees. 11. Previous experience in contract conversion, standardization and analysis of utilization.
Required Licensure/Certifications: Certification related to Healthcare specialty.
Required Experience: Eight (8) years (minimum) experience in an academic healthcare or hospital setting with demonstrated expertise in a specialty area. (Example: Supply Chain Services, Perioperative Services, Interventional Services, Critical Care, etc.)
Preferred Experience: 3-5 years direct experience in Supply Chain Services.
