Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Extended Learning and working collaboratively with the Director of the Center Distance Learning, the Instructional Design Specialist (IDS) will oversee all online course design and development, identify and recommend online instructional materials and learning technologies, and be responsible for the evaluation of all online courses.
Thorough knowledge and application of current and emerging instructional technologies, adult learning theories, learning outcome assessment, project management strategies, game-based learning, and competency-based online education, the Instructional Design Specialist will take a leading role in promoting and managing instructional design resources and developing and evaluating all online courses.
